Founded by Daniel Eggert, Vista Roofing was built from the ground up by a team of dedicated professionals who believe that craftsmanship, integrity, and customer care should never be negotiable. From day one, Daniel surrounded himself with people he could trust. Pablo, our crew boss, leads the field team with reliability, professionalism, and an approachable presence that puts both workers and customers at ease. Scott, our operations manager, keeps the business running smoothly — answering calls, managing communications, and ensuring every project is coordinated with precision. Daniel and Scott previously worked together at another local roofing company, where they helped that company grow and thrive. It was no surprise that Scott was one of the first people Daniel brought on board when starting Vista Roofing. Together, this team has created a company that Humboldt County can rely on — one that shows up, does the work right, and stands behind every single job.

Our Owner

Daniel Eggert is a Bay Area native who has spent his entire life connected to Humboldt County, visiting family here before eventually putting down roots in Arcata over 11 years ago. A skilled and ambitious craftsman, Daniel has dedicated his career to construction and roofing, developing a deep understanding of what it takes to build products that can withstand Humboldt's demanding climate. Before roofing, Daniel served as a Firefighter First Responder for three years in Tuolumne County — an experience that instilled in him a lifelong commitment to putting the safety and well-being of others first. That same mindset drives everything at Vista Roofing today. Daniel doesn't manage from a distance. He is personally on every job site, walking every roof, checking every detail, and signing off on every project before it's considered complete. For Daniel, Vista Roofing isn't just a business — it's a reflection of his values, his community, and his commitment to building something that lasts.
